Player's guide
How to choose a brain game
Choose a puzzle that feels understandable at first but leaves enough room to improve through practice and new strategies.
For deduction and problem-solving
Try Sudoku, Nonogram, KenKen, Minesweeper, or an Einstein Logic Puzzle. These games reward careful elimination and planning.
For language and vocabulary
Crossword, Word Search, Word Connect, Word Scramble, and Hangman combine pattern recognition with spelling and word knowledge.
For numbers and recall
Choose Magic Square or Arithmetic Challenge for numerical reasoning. Memory Match, Simon Memory, and Sequence Recall put short-term recall and attention first.
For visual patterns
Tangram, Pipe Connect, Color Sort, Water Sort, and Ball Sort encourage spatial planning and step-by-step organization.
